Last week our team appeared alongside Her Majesty Queen Masalanabo Modjadji VII in the Pretoria High Court, in the challenge to the President’s recognition of her as monarch of the Balobedu nation. The application, brought by a royal family faction seeking to set aside the December 2024 certificate of recognition, was argued before the court. Judgment is awaited — we will share a further update as the matter progresses.
